Let me now say a word about 2018’s musical landscape. So far, we’ve seen two collaborations between four different genre masters. One such is Czarface and MF Doom collaborating on “Nautical Depth,” which is a treat, and the next is Sting and Shaggy on “Don’t Make Me Wait,” which is . . . something. Israel’s the Great Machine released Respect, a ripper if you like awesome riffs. Lo Moon’s eponymous record is coming out later this month, and it will be huge. You heard it here first.
