We look at the holiday season (Thanksgiving, Christmas, Watchnight and Kwanzaa). Obviously, slavery was a horrible existence for the enslaved, but the holiday season was a “less horrible” time for them. Also, we present our version of the top 10 Black Christmas movies of all time, a Kwanzaa flier and we introduce a new feature, Talkin' Loud where we highlight notable speeches from historical African-Americans.
