This issue of the CBE Research Report comprises abstracts from our 2015 Annual Departmental Research Day. This yearly event allows CBE graduate students, undergraduates and postdoctoral fellows to put their research efforts on display. We are proud of the work performed by our students and trainees, and this day gives them the opportunity to defend their research and discuss it among peers and faculty in an informal setting to help mature their science and networking skills. 17 April 2015.
