Prior to the Bahrain Grand Prix world champions Red Bull and Sebastian Vettel were being written off .
The downfall theories came to naught as Vettel bounced back to secure a thoroughly deserved victory in the Sakhir desert. His main rivals at McLaren, Ferrari and Mercedes faltered.
It was great to see Kimi Raikkonen and Romain Grosjean on the podium for Lotus.
