Car carriers transport vehicle/s on a flat platform that slides or tilts to the ground to facilitate loading and unloading of the vehicle. In addition, they are well-equipped with a wheel-lift or underlift enabling them to tow an additional car behind them. Car carriers are sometimes known as slide backs, equipment transporters, flatbeds and rollbacks.
