Japan is the second largest aid donor in the world. Over the past 30 years, it has provided over 200 billion USD to development as part of its official assistance program (ODA). However, the events earthquake and tsunami since March 11, 2011 reversed the situation for a while.
The April issue of JAPAN and the WORLD magazine will focus on commemorating the March 11 Tohoku earthquake and tsunami and, specifically, the reaction of the world to this great tragedy. More
