The Hebrew month of Sivan commemorates several history making events. It is the season of the giving of the Torah at Sinai (see my Shavuot article inside). It is also the time of the first great outpouring of the Holy Spirit at Pentecost. Both of these events changed the world and can be compared to huge rocket engine stages that propelled the world closer toward reconciliation and redemption by our Heavenly Father. More
