The month of Tishrei is the Hebrew month with the Holy Days of Yom Teruah (the Day of Trumpets) and Yom Kippur (the Day of Atonement). It is a season of intentional introspection, self-evaluation, and preparation. Though it is a period associated with God’s judgement, it also reveals His great mercy—atoning for the sins for all of those who would humbly repent before Him. These holidays anticipate the final trumpets that will sound to usher in the Day of the Lord and return of the King of Kings. More
