In the 1985 Robert Zemeckis Sci-Fi movie Back to the Future, the film’s protagonist Marty McFly, played by Michael J. Fox, gets into his DMC DeLorean/time machine and accidentally goes back in time to 1955. Marty is suddenly in an era that’s decades before he was born.
