Autumn brings a kaleidoscope of color to
western Pennsylvania as well as some of the best
community events of the year—fall festivals! It’s
also time to start planning a trip to one of the many
spectacularly spooky haunted houses in our area,
such as Hundred Acres Manor in Bethel Park—
there’s nothing like a good haunted house to start

As the summer ushers in fall, each season of life also
brings change and new experiences. I’m realizing the
house will be a little quieter this fall, as our middle son,
Brenden, is headed off to college—and our youngest,
Tyler, is starting eighth grade. It will be a change for all of
us when we drop off Brenden, but we are excited for this
new chapter in his life.
