The BHQJ is an incredibly down-to-earth open-access journal dedicated to objective critique and constructive commentary on matters of healthcare practice, policy and standards. We like to think of our project as a freely available intellectual democracy. We charge no article submission fees for contributing to this platform. Everyone involved with the BHQJ is motivated by an interest in health and social care development in poor and middle-income countries.
