The Transformers is a line of mecha toys made by the Japanese company Takara (now called Takara Tomy) and Yankee toy company Hasbro. At the start a line of reworking mecha toys rebranded from Takara's Diaclone and Microman toylines, it spawned the Transformers media franchise.
