The documentary, CaribME: Net Yorkers of the Caribbean Diaspora was inspired by James Spooner, founder of AfroPunk. James embarked the term "Caribbeaness" that directed the film. While more Caribbean women were invited to be a part of it, I realized there was no space for Caribbean-American women design their voice.
