Lewis Hamilton trounced Mercedes teammate and title rival Nico Rosberg at the German Grand Prix and with it extending his points lead in the Formula 1 world championship. Chasing all weekend long were the Red Bull duo of Daniel Ricciardo and Max Verstappen as the energy drinks outfit re-established themselves behind Mercedes in the pecking order and ahead of Ferrari.
