Breast implants are prosthesis that are intended for modifying or enhancing the size, shape, and contour of breasts. These devices are mainly used in reconstructive plastic surgery or cosmetic surgical procedures to restore the natural look of breasts, usually after mastectomy or breast cancer treatment that leads to congenital defects and deformities in the breasts.
