A saw is a tool with a tough blade, chain, or wire with a hard-toothed edge. It is exclusively used to cut through material that is hard such as wood. The cut is made by applying force with the help of a hand or powered by steam, water, electricity or another power source. These tools are not portable from location to location but are mounted on a stand and are not characteristically moved around.
