MASC is a charitable organization that provides schools and communities with experiences of artistic excellence and creative process that awaken creativity, deepen awareness, encourage understanding and give vivid demonstration of Canada’s cultural diversity. MASC brings the arts and culture alive for over 120,000 children and youth each year. With a network of more than 68 artists and artist groups, MASC presents in schools and community settings across Eastern Ontario and Western Quebec. 更多
MASC’s core programming consists of a roster of approximately 65 professional artists and artist groups who go into the schools to inspire and motivate young people with hands-on workshops, live performances and long term residencies. Through MASC, a diversity of young people in our community have access to the kind of vivid, creative experiences that encourage commitment to the arts into adulthood, and build a host of important skills that will foster learning for the future. 更多
