Spliced Magazine was born to fill a need. The team is passionate about a variety of pop culture elements, and when we realised that there was no one source which brought them all together, the obvious answer was to create a magazine that we would like to read. The name itself came to represent hybridity, a splicing together of different content that we would like to see given representation in a South African context, yet able to be enjoyed world wide.
