Rodeo fever is in the air this month with the iconic Mt Garnet Races and Rodeo on 3-7 May. Chillagoe Rodeo is also on 11-12 May. Festivals this month include the Pioneer Weekend at the Historic Village in Herberton 5-6 May plus the One Act Play Festival in Malanda on 4-6 May. Country music stars Amber Lawrence and Travis Collins will be performing at the Malanda RSL. Petah Chapman also performing in a special Mother's Day Concert at Tinaroo. Lots of art exhibitions too!
